Dinosaur Discovery Workshops
Local Palaeontologists are led to believe that there may still be a dinosaur somewhere at Beenleigh Marketplace and they need your help to not only learn about dinosaurs but also locate the missing bones.

Kids come to Kids Crazy Challenges at Broadwater Parklands from 10am to 1pm on Thursday, 7th July 2022, dressed in something crazy.
Crazy items include shirts, socks, hats, jackets, jumpers, shoes, sunglasses, hair colours and/or hair styles, beanies, anything really….. be adventurous!
Children will work together in teams as they compete in challenges that earn them tokens at each station. Each team will celebrate their success at the end of the program with the Kids Crazy Cup Trophies.

A festival of Light, Design, Installation and Live Performance is coming to Southport CBD from Thursday, 7th July to Sunday, 10th July 2022.
BIG CITY LIGHTS* is the Gold Coast’s four-night festival of light, live music, colour and creativity. This festival brings a cutting-edge program that will feature immersive audio-visual experiences, large-scale digital works, 3D-mapping and unexpected projection sites that will transform the Gold Coast’s everyday urban spaces.
Audiences can enjoy this free-for-everyone, public night-time exhibition. This is done with the use of eco-friendly Biopots that can be easily transplanted into the home garden and taken care of for years to come!

Colour Explosion Obstacle Course
Looking for colour and fun? Well, Broadwater Parklands have it!
Come and enjoy an explosion of water and colour as we have some serious fun with a range of water based games and challenges intended to prepare the kids for our obstacle course challenge and colour explosion tag game on the Great Lawn in Broadwater Parklands on Saturday, 16 July 2022 from 10am to 12pm.
The event finishes with an awesome photo opportunity using colour to create a long lasting memory (and just a bit more colour!)

Experience a family-friendly travel adventure at HOTA’s dedicated Children’s Gallery.
There’s no need to travel any further than HOTA’s Children’s Gallery where artist Martin Edge’s colourful paintings are brought to life in an inclusive space for fun and adventure.
Your toddler can climb a giant sandcastle, visit Martin’s souvenir shop and create their own holiday mementos to take home.
Entry to the Children’s Gallery is FREE and bookings are not required. HOTA Gallery is open daily from 10am to 4pm.
