Letters to Santa
Santa and his elves are already busy going through letters from children all over the world.
Aussie kids can follow the steps on the Australia Post website (see link below) and help your kids or loved ones send a letter by Friday 1 December 2023 to get a reply before Christmas Day!
You can still send a letter up until Sunday 24 December 2023, and Santa will respond as soon as he can.
There are also free printable letter templates available too.

Gold Coast Libraries have a very special visitor coming in the next couple of weeks! Join them for a festive Storytime or Toddler Time at your local library. There’ll be stories and singing, and an appearance from our guest star!
If your little one has sensory or anxiety issues and finds meeting Santa overwhelming, we’re also hosting a limited number of Sensitive Santa sessions. Kids will be able to meet Santa in a secure and calm environment, designed to reflect their individual needs. Every year The Club at Parkwood Village transform the front 9 holes of our Boulder’s and Badlands Mini Golf course into the ultimate Christmas wonderland.
Each hole has it’s own unique Christmas theme, amazingly styled with lights, huge decorations, snow, bubbles, music and more. It is the ultimate night out to celebrate Christmas with the family.

The Enchanted Garden Brisbane
Prepare to be spellbound and step into a world of dazzling wonder and adventure.
Brisbane’s most anticipated light show, The Enchanted Garden presented by Royal Caribbean, is returning to Roma Street Parkland from 23rd November to 20th December 2023.
Tickets on sale via The Enchanted Garden website from 10am AEST Monday 13 November. In previous years, tickets to this event have sold out quickly. Especially the early evening sessions best for little people.

Ormeau-Pimpama Santa Run
Santa and his helpers from the Ormeau Rural Fire Brigade and Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama will be visiting the local area for the annual Ormeau-Pimpama Santa run.
This year the run will be held on Sunday 17th December 2023 with the first stop at the Hilltop Park Ormeau Ridge at 1pm.

An all-singing, all-dancing spectacle for all ages, The South Bank Christmas Show features a live band, talented singers, energetic dancers, and a special appearance from Santa himself.
Presented at South Bank Piazza from 18 – 23 December. Tickets to The South Bank Christmas Show go on sale on Friday 17 November at 9am. Children aged 2 and under are free of charge but must remain in parent/caregiver’s arms or lap.
Plus while your at South Bank, create magical memories with your family at Holly Jolly Kids, South Bank’s kid-centric zone. Enjoy free Christmas and First Nations themed colouring, a beautiful wishing tree installation and the chance to join an Elf Dance Party with a lively 20-minute disco hosted by the North Pole’s spritely residents held daily from 4pm. Lego in the Vale – Free Christmas School Holiday Event
BRICKS 4 KIDZ® return to Helensvale Library and Cultural Centre this Christmas holidays, to provide a festive & fun LEGO® experience for children aged between 6 – 12 years old on Wednesday, 20th December.
Children will complete Christmas themed LEGO® building activities using LEGO® Technic Project Kits, Mosaic and Colour Builds, and enjoy copious amounts of Free Play LEGO®.
Please come dressed in your most jolly holiday outfit. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed.
Two session times: 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm
Children will need to be signed in to, and out from the event by a known adult. They will not be required to stay for the full 2 hours, but will need to be collected by the end of their session.
Maximum of 40 participants per session. Click the ‘reserve a spot’ button to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome on the day but cannot be guaranteed a spot.
The sessions will be held upstairs in the Auditorium at Helensvale Library and Cultural Centre.
