More on the Food

Pizza is what The Park does well, and it is really impressive when you buy it by the metre (and lots of fun for a party 🎉). The Park Coomera menu does offer more street food style options including loaded fries, fish and chips, hot dogs, salad and a schnitzel. They have kid’s meals for $10 that include a drink PLUS kids eat free from Sunday 5 pm – Friday 5 pm. There aren’t a lot of restaurants (if any) on the Gold Coast offering Kids Eat Free six days a week, making it highly affordable place to take the family out for dinner.

Birthday Parties

The Park Coomera also offer an affordable and fun birthday party package that includes Pizza, Drinks, reserved table and chairs, 1 Game of Mini Golf and Bowling per person – all for $30 per person for a 8 minimum of 8 guests. For parent’s looking for a fun yet hassle free kid’s party venue it is hard to go past The Park.

Toddler Review

One of our first visits to the The Park Coomera was during their Sundae Sesh for a family dinner.  The Sundae Sesh runs from 5 to 7pm every Sunday and includes Kids Eat Free with ice-cream (with a paying adult) and kid’s entertainment like balloon twisters and character entertainers. No additional charge for this, you just need to book a table.

Both the kids loved the balloon twisting but were a little too small at the time to play games with Rapunzel. Some school aged girls seemed to be having a great time being entertained by Rapunzel though.

It had been a long time since I had taken our children out for dinner and been able to just let them be without worrying about other diners not enjoying their meal if my children were too loud or unruly. The Park Coomera is the ultimate in relaxed family friendly dining. It is a bit like having dinner in the middle of an arcade or fun fair (in a good way!).

The Park Coomera is a great choice for a big group get-together of several families with kids and for parties!

On our most recent visit to The Park Coomera they hosted the Fun Things for Toddlers Party with a large group of different families with small children. The kid’s (and parents) had an absolute blast. Everyone had fun playing mini golf and bowling, and once play was over we all enjoyed metres of pizza and soft drinks. The staff make hosting a party/event a breeze. No stress, no mess, so all you can do is have fun and we sure did!

So if you are looking for a meal out and some affordable family fun, plan a toddler adventure to The Park Coomera. Also, keep them in mind if you are looking for a fun-filled (mess and hassle free) party venue for your next birthday.

What to pack (suggestions)

  • Snacks (I always include a snack in case there is a delay with your meals)
  • Packet of wipes for spills and toddler clean-up
  • Bibs (if out for dinner and your toddlers are bathed and ready for bed)
  • Tablet / phone or dinner table friendly toys for back up
