Anzac Day, 25 April, is one of Australia’s most important national occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.
Commemorating ANZAC Day with our young children allows us to pass down stories about Australia’s heroes and history at a time when they are actively interested and engaged. And it’s one way we can personally honour our ANZACs and ensure that they and their sacrifice are not forgotten by us and future generations. Lest we forget.
