Twilight Run & Community Carnival

FREE New Years Eve Community Carnival at Emerald Lakes Golf Club in Carrara! The Carnival; supported by Turners Engineering and Cr. Bob La Castra; will see food trucks and live music, a pop-up bar, jumping castles for the little one’s and early fireworks (7.30pm). The fun continues with an open air movie for the young ones and live music after the fireworks, the evening wrapping up by a very sensible 9.30pm! The event will have a Covid Plan in action so there’ll be a QR code to scan on arrival and all the necessities and niceties like hand sanitiser and social distancing, with lots of fun to be had for all. New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Gold Coast Gurdwara, Sikh Temple & Community Education Centre in Helensvale

Join the Guru Maneyo Granth Gold Coast Gurdwara to bring in 2021 whilst listening to our Guru’s baani with Kirtan and Katha from 12noon to Midnight.

Langar (free veg meal) will be served all day, and there will special activities for children.

Councillor Ryan Bayldon- Lumsden of Division 7 City of Gold Coast presents New Years Eve by the Sea at Harley Park Labrador. This is a fun filled family event for all ages. Gates open from 5:30pm. Kid’s entertainment from 5:45pm. Laser and Fireworks show at 9:00pm. Entertainment from: Aussie Pride Band, Hi-fidelity Dancers, Face Painters, Balloon Artists, Trinity Lutheran College Singers. Along with food trucks, jumping castle, balloon artist and face painting what a great way to see in the new year! This event is a COVID safe event and is run in accordance with a QLD Health COVID Safety Plan. If you are unwell or have flu like symptoms, please stay at home. Paradise Point New Year’s Fireworks [BOOKED OUT]

COVIDSafe Fireworks display at Paradise Point at 9pm New Year’s Eve. As with all things, this year’s event will be different to previous years with no entertainment or central stage to ensure that we can spread out in a COVIDSafe way. There will be road closures in front of the shops, extra bins and toilets available. An important additional change is there will be ticket registration required for people attending to enable Covid tracing. The link for registration will be released on Boxing Day.
